The Season-Long Race for the Regions Cup
Overview
Players and teams can pick up points towards the Regions Cup as they compete in events throughout the Skyline Series based on where they place in the field of their respective division.
After the conclusion of the Skyline Series Finale, the team and individual pair that have amassed the most points win their respective Regions Cup and take the season ending prize pool.
The Skyline Series Finale will award 2x points per place relative to a regular season event.
Individual Points Accumulation
Individual pairs earn points in each event where the pair plays together, not when each member of the pair plays.
All pairs that are tied in non-payout places will receive the points associated with the tied position.
Examples
- Two pairs tie for 3rd in the Open division, but there is not a pay out. Both receive 80 points.
- Two pairs tie for 3rd with a pay out. The pair that wins the playoff gets 80 points for 3rd while the other gets 70 points for 4th.
Team Points Accumulation
Teams earn points whenever the team is competing in the event regardless of who is playing for the team. The Team points are based on the point total from the event, not where the team finishes in the team competition.
Example
- The first place team in the event has a point total of 160 and the second place team has 120. Both teams get those two point values in the season long race
